Job Description: Prepare, gather and process survey information and ensure reporting of data and possible deviations to Project Management and client's representatives, in line with contractual agreements, thereby contributing to safe and (cost-) efficient project execution.

1. Preparations: Determine and install necessary measurement equipment;
2. Measurement: Measure and process data before, during and after project execution and carry out field checks, according to contractual agreements and specifications;
3. Data Processing: Verify the accuracy of the data and analyze and interpret the data, process the data into a report for presenting and explaining results to Project Management and/or client and start and maintain a database;
4. Equipment Maintenance: Analyze functioning of measuring equipment and ensure maintenance, in accordance with the maintenance instructions;
5. Report: Ensure the evaluation of and reporting on the survey phases and end results, analyze nonconformities, signal deviations and propose suggestions for improvement and solutions of problems and, if necessary, explain this to or convince the client on the approach/solutions;
6. QHSE-S: Work and act in accordance with the applicable QHSE-S instructions and measures, report and investigate accidents, take appropriate measures in case of accidents and hazardous situations and draw proposals for improvement.

Requirements: 

1. 5+ years experience in hydrographic surveying
2. Experience with Octans MRU+ heading, Septentrio GPS, and Teledyne T50 MBES
3. Valid GWO or BOSIET certification 
4. OGUK medical and Chester Step test
