Job Description:

Responsibilities

Pre-Award Phase:

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to understand business needs and project requirements.
  • Gather necessary information to engage supply chains effectively, including client requirements and category strategies.
  • Develop procurement strategies in partnership with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Obtain quotations and conduct commercial evaluations to identify cost-effective solutions.
  • Engage with preferred suppliers to secure beneficial agreements in a timely manner.
  • Perform comprehensive commercial analyses and evaluate bids, incorporating input from relevant disciplines (e.g., Engineering, Planning, QHSE, Legal).
  • Prepare and finalize bid summaries with recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update procurement strategies and project procurement plans.
  • Optimize cost, quality, and schedule flexibility throughout the process.
  • Finalize subcontract documents for authorized signatures.
  • Manage supplier relationships through regular meetings to align expectations and business objectives.
  • Follow established business management systems and tools while adhering to company policies and codes of conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, safety, environmental, and customer requirements.

Post-Award Phase:

  • Oversee the delivery of subcontracted goods and services, collaborating with internal teams and relevant disciplines like QHSE and Document Control.
  • Manage day-to-day supplier performance, addressing issues and maintaining correspondence records.
  • Support the achievement of project objectives by staying informed of key project milestones, schedules, and plans.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
  • Negotiate and manage variation orders, in coordination with the Contracts/Legal team when necessary.
  • Review supplier invoices and finalize accounts, ensuring accuracy.
  • Close out subcontracts, ensuring all documentation, including as-built records, is obtained from suppliers.
  • Participate in supplier performance evaluations and contribute to lessons learned reports.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, commercial, or legal field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is required. Proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of offshore industry regulations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP/Ariba systems.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
